Minor Aspects In AstrologyInconjunct or Quincunx, Semi-Sextile, Semi-Square, Novile, Quintile, Bi-Quintile,Sesquiquadrat, Septile, Vigintile, and Decile.When it comes to using minor aspects, most astrologers will use the ones that resonate with them, giving each individual’s minor aspects their own level of importance. Not all astrologers will use all of the minor aspects, but it is interesting to have a basic understanding of each one, just in case it peeks your own personal interest. Some minor aspects are used more then others and the orbs will vary depending on which aspect it is and the personal preference of the astrologer who is casting the chart. Here is a list of some of the minor aspects used in astrology along with an orb guideline (orb guidelines are not set in stone, it is up to the discretion of each astrology to use an orb that resonates with them).
It is my understanding that the most popular Minor aspects are; the Inconjunct or Quincunx, the Semi-Sextile, the Semi-Square and the Sesquiquadrat.
