The Sixth House

The 6^th house is often referred to as the House of Service or Health.  Being a house that rules both service and heath it ties into it’s meaning many different aspects of both energies.  Under health also comes sickness, hygiene, habits and Holistic Health (under the rulership of Chiron).  Under service comes our duty, day to day routines, work and how we service others in this life.  As well as servicing others, don’t forget that it also represents how we service our self. 

Keywords or concepts to keep in mind when studying the sixth house energies are:

The natural rulership of the Sixth house is: the Sign of Virgo – The planet Mercury and Chiron.  The 6^th House is opposite the 12^th House in the astrological wheel.
