The Seventh House

The 7^th house is also known as the Descendant due to the fact that it is opposite the Ascendant.  However it is commonly referred to as the house of Partnership ruling all types of relationships such as marriage, divorce, and our mate.  Marriage and divorce are also known as a form of cooperation, as are business contracts, lawsuits and agreements. 

Keywords or concepts to keep in mind when studying the seventh house energies are:

The natural ruler-ship of the seventh house is: the Sign of Libra – The planet Venus.  The 7th House is opposite the 1st House on the Astrological wheel.
