Amethyst
Amethyst is a variety of quartz found mostly in a purple hue. The color ranges from pale lavender to deep purple, depending on the location in which it is found. It can be found almost everywhere in the world. Amethyst is connected to the throat chakra, heart chakra and the crown chakra. In the Throat and Heart Chakra it first stimulates and then calms the chakra. Amethyst is known for it’s connection the crown chakra, and the ability to transmutate lower energies into higher frequencies. One way to remember this is with its connection to the sign of Pisces. Pisces rules the feet in the physical body, however it also represents our spiritual path that we are walking on this earth plane. Amethyst and its association to Pisces is similar, it takes the lower energies (or the feet) and allows you to walk within the higher vibrations of the soul (your soul path) it’s connection with the soul that ties in the Heart Chakra, for the seat of the soul is found within the Heart. Due to its alignment energies that are present within the stone, it can also clear the aura, removing what is not in alignment with the higher self from a persons aura. It can stabilize and transmute dysfunctional energy within the aura and all of its lower body’s. As a stone of spirituality and contentment, it enhances calmness, tranquility, peacefulness into the Aura which will eventually vibrate through to the physical body. Amethyst has a strong spiritual vibration as it is connected with the Crown Charka and it aids in the attunement of walking on the earth plane coming from a spiritual existence. As a stone of Meditation it conducts peacefulness and calmness into the mind as it opens and activates the crown chakra. It aids with the development of connecting with the higher self through mediation. When we connect it to the Crown Charka it is taping into the knowing that comes from within the mind, as a tool for survival as well. It is a stone that brings the mind serenity, fairness in decisions and it can enhance the ability to manage responsibilities. It encourages one to be flexible with their decision process, enhancing cooperation, clearing away any non-productive and unkind vibrations. Its connection with the earth signs of Virgo and Capricorn aid in organization and business affairs. On a physical level, Amethyst aids in healing hearing disorders. Its association with Capricorn aids with the strengthening and re-aligning of the skeletal system, bones, teeth and skin (reinforce posture and heal arthritis). With connection to Virgo, it aids in healing disorders associated with the stomach and digestive tract. It association with Pisces, aids in the healing of insomnia or other sleep disorders and encourages the proper performance of the endocrine glands. It’s association with Aquarius aid in the stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system and can aid in the stabilizing of mental disorders. As Amethyst is a re-alignment energy, it also aids in re-aligning cellular disorders. Amethyst vibrates to the number 3-Three. Astrological association are Pisces, Virgo, Capricorn and Aquarius.
