Universal Sky NewsletterSolar Eclipse in Libra, October 13th 2004As I write this newsletter the Sun is currently in Libra. It has been a busy time for me so I apologize for not writing previous newsletters on time. Well I have not really completed writing them at all. I started them all with good intentions, but never had the time to complete them. This is a short newsletter to inform most people of the Solar Eclipse that is coming. I was guided by spirit to write this mini newsletter, to share in the wonderment of how spirit can aid us, even if we don’t know they are there. Even if we question that they are assisting us unconditionally, they do not care for they are still there. A lot of people are feeling the energy of the Solar Eclipse that is coming on October 13th at 11:00 PM EST. While the Sun is in Libra the energy focuses not only on partnership but also on balance and harmony. In order to attain harmony one must quite the mind and the heart at the same time and tap into the power of being. It is not an easy task if your mind and heart are racing all around you all the time. So sit quietly on this day and feel the balance of nature taking place. The harvest has come and if we look to the earth cycles we are entering into the re-generation phase. All has quieted around us, nature is slowly moving into its dormant sleep. During this time however don’t forget to appreciate the precious gift of beauty that nature is giving us. The colours on the trees are starting to become vibrant and warm as the air starts to cool. This is one way that nature is truly showing us balance. For as the air gets colder, our sights become warmer, until it is time to rest. The Solar Eclipse that is taking place on October 13th happens at 21 degrees of Libra 06 Minutes. The Sabian Symbol* for 22 degrees of Libra is “A CHILD GIVING BIRDS A DRINK AT A FOUNTAIN”**. What does that mean you may ask? Well we know that harmony is trying to be achieved with this solar eclipse. Here we have a child, full of wonderment and awe, giving life bestowing, purified drinkable water to thirsty birds. This is a spiritual message, not one that can be totally understood on a mundane level. For the child whose spirit is pure, seeks that harmony and balance from above, from spirit. It uses the water to purify the thoughts of man, to open up and receive gifts from outside sources. As we see the metaphoric death of the earth come into play with the warm colours, but the cooler air, we are being asked to tap into the richness of peace and enlightenment. For no matter what goes on with the ‘ego’ or the mundane reality. We are not left thirsty; we are purified by the richness of the Divine in every way. On this Solar Eclipse, tap into your light source, find the internal balance that we are being guided to seek. If you find that your outer reality is in chaos, look inside to the peace that resides within your heart. Enjoy in the richness when the Sun and Moon join together.
