On the day that the Northern Hemisphere celebrates the first day of summer, the Sun moves into the sign of Cancer, on June 20th, 2004 at 7:58 PM EST. This Summer Season brings with it the growth of our plans. The fruits and vegetables are flourishing in the garden, soon ready to be picked. Take the time now to understand what your calling in life is. With enough knowledge and understanding gained over the summer, you can do anything come Fall. Here we have the energy of the Crab for the next 31 days. When the Sun is in Cancer it is a time to enjoy with your family. Enjoy pleasant cooling exercises or just kick back and relax by the pool or the lake. Our emotions and intuitive nature are sensitive this month. Feelings are the key word, so open up to your receptive nature, feel the flow of emotion and walk the path of your choice. It may be difficult for some people to make choices this month, but clarity should come about if you trust what you are feeling. On June 23rd, it is time to get out and show who you are to the world. Express your highest good when Mars enters into Leo. You may feel like being the life of the party, and if you do that is great…be the life of the Party, for all eyes will be on you. Enjoy the summer activities now, for you will have more energy to go out and play. Until August 9th your will power will be especially strong now. So realize that you have the strength and energy for foresee any projects towards completion. If you are at an early phase within your goal, you will have the endurance to continue on reaching it. On June 29th, 2004 Venus finally moves out of its retrograde phase. A phase in which, were are being asked to find understanding of our inner values and beliefs. Now that she moves direct we can take all the knowledge that we gained and start to implement it into our daily lives. The beauty of Mother Nature will start to shine once again, for she is ready to get back to work after a six-week vacation. On July 2nd, 2004 at when we look into the evening sky, the Moon will be reflecting the light of the Sun. For she will be in her Full Moon phase at 6:10 AM EST, and into the night. It will be difficult to express your emotions clearly with this Moon. The ruling sign of the Moon is Cancer, and here we have the Full Moon in its opposing sign at 10 Degrees of Capricorn 38’. When the Moon resides in Capricorn, she is filled with an opposing nature. This Full Moon will bring you to a realization that integration is necessary for you to become aware of other peoples needs. Recognize the needs of others from a higher place. For the Mountain goat travels up the Mountain and looks down upon all its inhabitants. On July 4th, 2004 our minds shift from an inwards Cancerian energy to an outgoing Leo expression. Mercury moves into Leo for the next 3 weeks, so expect communications to move into joyous expressions. Have wonderful discussions with your children now, for they are open to listening to the inspired stories you have for them. Our last energy for the Month of Cancer will be expressed with New Beginnings. The New Moon happens on July 17th at 6:25 AM EST at 25 Degrees of Cancer 53’. The New Moon takes place in its ruling sign making it one of the most powerful New Moons of the Lunar Calendar. This is a time to tap into plans around your security and nurture your emotional and intuitive natures. Exercise your developed metal capacities in comfort on this New Moon.
