Universal Sky NewsletterSun in Gemini 2004 (May – June)On May 20th the Sun moved into the dual sign of Gemini. The Sun in Gemini speaks of a time to be social with siblings and neighbors. The weather is finally warming up here in Ontario, so it is the start of the social season. People are enjoying being outdoors for the first time since the winter. There has also been a lot of rain here, so there is a cleansing factor to consider. Cleansing that helps to nourish. With the Sun in Gemini we have a view of The Lovers dancing in the Daylight. There are many choices to be made during this time and those choices require thought and communications. (The Zodiac sign of Gemini rules the Lovers Card in the Tarot deck.) There are other planets in the sign of Gemini as well. We have Venus traveling through Gemini until, August 7th, 2004. At Present she is in a Retrograde phase, where we are being asked to reevaluate our Values and Beliefs. All those values and beliefs that we have ‘learned’ or intergraded into our being. On June 6th, 8th and 10th there are alignments happening in the universe that are asking us to ‘align’ with what our soul desires. What ever it is that you need to move forward with in your life now, do so with trust and faith. Don’t get stuck in the past or the influences that may hinder your growth, for now is a time to think ahead, plan, and move forward. A few days prior to this alignment there is the Full Moon in Sagittarius. In which we tap into the Knowledge of what our Soul desire. There is more clarity coming with this Full Moon. The Sabian Symbol* for this Full Moon is “A WIDOW’S PAST IS BROUGHT TO LIGHT”**. The keynote to this symbol is speaking to us in terms of Karma for past actions, and how it can bring forth opportunities towards enlightenment. There are many cycles within individuals lives that are coming to a completion, or a death phase. Not physical death but the ending of situations. Situations that no longer further the growth or development of one’s spiritual path. Here there is a link with the knowledge of the Soul that will be brought into the light of the Full Moon. Illusions vanish, so that one can move forward. The alignment energy takes place in it’s polarity sign of Gemini, where choices need to be made. Decisions about how one shall be in one’s earthly form and place within this existence. The time is in activation to follow the desire of the Soul. Then on June 5th Mercury soars into it’s ruling sign of Gemini. Here we are asked to Communicate. Communicate the knowledge that we have just received from our soul. Communicate it with others or if you choose not to speak the words then write them down. Communicate your words through the expression of writing. Share your ideas with others; share them until you can share no more. This energy goes for approximately three weeks. Mercury will be joining up with Venus on, June 13 for a short time. This energy is asking us to communicate for the moment, what our newly discovered Values and Beliefs are. Share your thoughts and perspectives from a higher place into the lower planes of existence. New ideas need to be expressed today. Express them, and then listen to the response you get afterwards. Don’t just hear, but listen. For these fresh ideas and the feedback will aid you on your journey into the new. On June 10th Uranus goes retrograde. Uranus retrogrades often through out the year. But this time in it’s retrograde phase, it brings in the energy of the spiritual blessings that one will receive for standing in their uncompressible truth. When we listen to the light of the Soul, we are rewarded with spiritual blessing. This blessing will occur if not now, then sometime soon. The dynamic of this energy will be revealed by the light. For it may not be an energy that one can comprehend on an intellectual level but the Soul will see the light. All souls will see the light. Don’t forget that if by Free Will we choose not to look at it from a logical perspective, in some sub-conscious way our Soul sees what needs to be seen. All will be revealed soon. On June 17th the Moon starts to show by a slight sliver in the sky. The New Moon has approached the Sun once again. This time it will occur in the sign of Gemini, again we have power to tap into choices. These choices bring in New creations of being. New ways of Felling. This is a nice time to tap into the power of understanding your intuition. For you mind will be strong tonight and it will connect with the heart as well. Here we are being guided from above but acting in below. We are asked to break free of our wild nature and live amongst society. Work for yourself but also for the whole. For our ideas break free into feeling what is right for one, effects all. So be good to you and be good to the greater good. The final transit for the month happens on June 19th when Mercury moves out of it’s ruling sign into the sign of Cancer. Mercury will be in the sign of Cancer until July 3rd. This is a time of intellectual withdrawal. Don’t look at this as being negative, but look at this as a time to reflect on everything you have been thinking about over the past month. For many people this is a great time to go on holidays, even if you don’t go away, it is a nice time to take from working. Think about what it is that you wish to create in your home environment, for next month it is about security, and Mercury in Cancer leads the way to thinking about security.
