My apologies for a late newsletter, but due to the holiday season, I had decided to take some quality time with my family. The Sun moved into Capricorn on December 21st, 2004. The day prior to the sun moving into Capricorn, the trickster Mercury moved into a direct motion, so now communication can start again with clarity. Mars, the planet of action, moved into the sign of Sagittarius, on December 25th. This energy is in place for approximately 7 weeks, which is asking us to ‘Act on your Truth’. There was also a shift in the Nodes during this month. The North Node, has moved from the sign of Taurus into the Sign of Aries. Putting emphases on the Polarity of Aries – Libra. Here this is a universal energy affecting everyone in different areas of life, however it is asking people to take your personal needs into action and consideration, for when you do it will benefit anyone that you are in a relationship with. For when you are focused on working within the self, then you can do greater good for the group. It is not necessary about being selfish, but sometime focusing on the self first, aids in the development of relationships. This energy lasts for until June of 2006. On January 9th, 2005 Venus moves into the sign of Capricorn asking us to tap into our personal values and beliefs into finding our soul purpose. Then on January 10th, 2005 Mercury also moves into the sign of the mountain goat…where we can align our thoughts with our soul purpose. Keep in mind that energy follows thought, and manifestation follows energy. The focus of this newsletter is the New Moon that is taking place in Capricorn on January 10th 2005 at 7:04 AM. This New Moon is a great time to make your New Years resolution. If you made a New Years Resolution take some time to re-implement it due to the fact that making it on New Years day with Mercury Retrograde shadow, it was not a good time to follow through into completing something new. So re-do your New Years resolution on this New Moon. This particular New Moon in Capricorn brings with it the energy of success. Success in implementing any goals within your career or public status. It relates to your souls purpose. So if your intention this day is in alignment with your souls purpose then there is great energy supporting your ideals today, that you will be able to carry forth throughout the year into the next year. Capricorn is on a continual search of Structures, Boundaries and Purpose. This Capricorn New Moon is asking you to take a look at where you are now, where you would like to be, and what you need to do to get there. On this New Moon, Mercury is conjunct Venus in the sign of Capricorn as well. We have the ability to take in NEW thought (Mercury at 0 Degrees), align it (conjunction) with our personal Values and beliefs (Venus), and create Structures, Boundaries and Purpose (Capricorn). We need to be responsible within this search. Only the individual can take responsibility for achieving the goals and intentions that you set out this year. So do what needs to be done, act (Mars) in alignment with your Higher Self (Sagittarius), and climb to the top of mountain this year. Blessings, Nancy Arruda
