Universal Sky NewsletterSun in Sagittarius 2005There is a lot going on in the Universal Sky this month, not only have I been busy, but literally there is a lot going on in the universe! Before I explain what is going on in the universe when the Sun moves into the sign of Sagittarius, I must tap into some things that I did not get a chance to write about while the Sun was in Scorpio. Lets Look at Mercury when it moved into the sign of Sagittarius on October 30th, 2005 …While Mercury is in the Sign of Sagittarius, we are taping into the potential of our higher mind or higher consciousness. We are being asked to look at every situation from above, to get an understanding of the bigger picture. Mercury has gone into a retrograde phase on November 14th, 2005. When Mercury is in a retrograde position the energy internalizes, creating some confusion when it comes to making decisions on a larger level. The decisions we are focusing on in this retrograde is about redefining our higher truth, and in order for that to happen one must internalize this energy. The Retrograde energy will continue for the next 3 weeks, but it will continue in its backwards journey entering back into the sign of Scorpio on November 26th. When it does so, the energy will shift again so that everyone will have the opportunity to let go of what no longer serves them and be given the ability of transforming their higher ideals at a deeper level. The Retrograde journey ends on December 3rd when Mercury moves into its direct motion while still in the sign of Scorpio. It will then re-enter the sign of Sagittarius on December 12th, 2005 ready and waiting for all too embrace that newly re-defined spiritual consciousness. Uranus the planet of breaking free moves into its direct motion on November 16th, 2005. The energy of this direct motion is asking everyone to be true to their self, release what stops you from not being true to yourself. Look into the mirror, see the light that surrounds you, and notice that the light comes from within you and shines outwardly around you. Be true to yourself. For later this day the Full Moon at 23 Degrees Taurus 46 (view chart) minutes is showing the light of completion towards recognizing your personal values and beliefs, or in this case, your personal truth. Nothing can be hidden from the light of this moon, for it is a light that shines brightly in the night sky. And if you look into the mirror you will find that it shines bright within you. Now let’s move into the new month of the Sun in Sagittarius… The Sun moves into the sign of Sagittarius on November 22nd at 12:16 AM EST, bringing with it the growth and abundance of the Universe. Our focus this month is on finding our Truth, and not just finding it, but Knowing it! We have entered into the ‘Search for Meaning and Higher Consciousness’. During this month there will be many supporting energies that allow each individual to journey into their own search. A supporting time that allows each individual to explore the expansive nature of their soul. We will be supported with this search as the planet Saturn turns retrograde on November 22nd, 2005, allowing everyone’s ego (human aspect of self) to reflect inward. There will be challenges with this retrograde as the ego prefers to be projected in an external fashion, yet to support the search for meaning and higher consciousness, the planet that allows for the law of restriction to take place will be restricting the ego (human aspect of self) until April 5th, 2006. As the new month of December approaches we can welcome the New Moon in Sagittarius. (View Chart) This New Moon takes place on December 1st at 10:02 am EST at 9 Degrees of Sagittarius 31’. On this new moon the universe is allowing each individual to grab onto the Archers arrow, and allow it to carry you forth into the universe. Here we can take flight into our dreams; there is the ability to take the greatness of what life has to offer. The question one needs to ask is… are you ambitious enough to grab on to the archers arrow? Are you going to allow the excitement to carry you far? Are you going to allow fear of where the arrow may fall to stop you from soaring through the universe and reaching for the stars? Remember that we are all human and in human body. If you keep the vision of reaching for the stars, towards your hopes and wishes, with the intention of maintaining goodness for everyone involved, then you can do no wrong. Allow yourself to be the arrow, and soar through the universe grabbing onto the stars! (Don’t forget Mercury goes direct on December 3rd, 2005 at 21:25 EST). Have you been feeling a lot of internal anger since Mars went into it’s retrograde phase on October 1st, 2005? After several months in retrograde Mars comes out hiding. On December 9th, 2005 (EST) Mars moves into a direct motion. As the spiritual warrior moves into its direct motion, we can now actively move forward once again walking the path that we have chosen. The universe will be providing us with the shift required to tap back into our personal power and exert that energy outwards in a healthy way. (I am thankful for this past Mars Retrograde, for it gave me the ability to do the internal work necessary, so that I could have a wonderful external result when it goes direct.) Our last energy of this month is the Full Moon in Gemini (view chart). Stare up in the heavens on December 15th, 2005 and see the moon staring back at you. We experience the duality of this Full Moon in two or more ways… there will be the emotional nature of the moon shining through the sky, and there will be the intellectual nature of Gemini potentially confusing you. When mind and emotion mix, there has got to be some misunderstanding. For mind and emotion do not get along well, however remember the light within the sky, remember the light within you and all will be in balance this evening.
