…For December 29th, 2007 There are many little things to get accomplished today, and we have the support of the Moon in Virgo to aid us in focusing upon all the little details. There is a sense of being practical today, utilizing our analytical mind to process all of the information that is coming in. Keep in mind that today is a THOUGHT DAY! The morning starts off with Moon trine Mercury at 1:31 AM EST, and there may have been active thoughts running through you mind as you awakened this morning. We are challenged to find the inspiration when Moon opposite Uranus takes place at 4:14 AM EST. However; this evening at 11:11 PM EST Mercury sextile Uranus allows for flashes of intuitive insight, and awareness to bolt through your thought processes. Like a portal of awakening, our minds will be very alert. There may be a tendency for rapid speech at this time as well; all this is because of the fact that the information flowing in will be fast. Can you keep up with all the ideas that are flashing through your brain? If not, it’s best to write them down so that one may access them at a later time, at a time of action and not just thought. …For December 28th, 2007 Welcome to a detailed oriented day! Yes, the Moon is traveling through the sign of Virgo, allowing us to utilize the energy of effectiveness. Focusing on practical details is enhanced today, and the only caution is to not loose sight of the big picture. We start the morning off at 2:03 AM EST with the Moon sextile Mars. As the 1st aspect of the day, it looks like a high energy day as our emotional natures merge with our physical energy levels. Were you up extra early today? The harmony continues at 3:44 AM EST when the Moon trine Jupiter allows you to tap into the awareness of the universe on a large level. Emotional growth and emotional abundance are flowing through everyone today, make sure your being conscious or proactive as to the direction you take it. Then at 11:51 AM EST there is a wonderful harmony (trine) between the Sun and the Moon, when an integrative blend of masculine and feminine, ying and yang take place. Allow your sense of spirit to be awakened by the feminine light and feel the flow of the universal forces. Later today at 3:26 PM EST the flow slows down as the Moon conjunct Saturn takes place. Not to put a damper on your day, but there are some structures in life that will require attention. Don’t forget that even though most of North America is on holidays, life continues to exist and the bank never closes. Check out all of your responsibilities so that nothing is overlooked. …For December 27th, 2007 We start the morning and most of the day with the Moon in the sign of Leo. This playful sign allows us to tap into our inner-child, and feel the wonderment and awe of youthful energy. So make sure that you schedule some time today having fun and allowing your inner child out to play. There are a few aspects taking place while the Moon skips and jumps through this sign. At 5:53 AM EST the Moon opposite Neptune may have activated a lot of dreams only finding understanding in them may not be logically possible upon awakening. Then at 5:33 PM EST the Moon square Venus aspect places us in a position of not understanding our values. Relationships may not see eye to eye at this point, which is fine, just accept that not everyone will agree with what you believe in and change the subject. The last aspect before the Moon goes void of course is Moon trine Pluto at 9:54 PM EST. The vibration of this aspect is allowing for harmonious changes to take place within your reality and day to day lifestyles. You will have a few hours to work with this vibration while the Moon is void, so take some time and put on your meditation hat, for that is the only place you may find understanding at this point. Know that this void of course only lasts for a short time as the Moon will move into the sign of Virgo at 11:44 PM EST. …For December 26th, 2007 The Moon is moving through the sign of Leo today, and it moved into this sign on Christmas Day! Merry Christmas for those of you who celebrate it, may all of your dreams have come true! The Moon moves quietly through the heavens today, not aspecting any planets, yet it is not void as there will be aspects in the wee hours of tomorrow morning while in this sign. There is one aspect taking place today at 2:35 PM EST, and that is Mars opposite Jupiter (chart). There is a huge focus on patience today, as impatience is what you may feel. The pull between a desire or drive to achieve and a need to enjoy life is the energy of this aspect. The duality of feelings with this comes in many forms. Since the major holiday has passed, one may have the energy to tidy up, however that’s not fun, so what do you feel like doing? This is not about having to do, unless you BELIEVE you have to. So think about your priorities today, mix them up a bit based on what every one around you is in the mood to do, and have fun doing what ever you choose to do. …For December 24th, 2007 I did not get the chance to write the tidbit yesterday, because I was following the vibration of the Full Moon. The Full Moon took place on the 23rd at 8:16 PM EST, in the sign of Cancer. Fulfilling family traditions is the part of this vibration. Getting together with family and those friends who are like family is the theme this time of year, when the Sun is in Capricorn and the Moon in Cancer. Today the Moon continues to move through the sign of Cancer. The final steps in preparing for the holiday season are taking place today for a lot of people. As we open our hearts, and allow all the nurturing flow through us, towards those we love and hold dear. Today the Sun opposite Mars vibration may make you feel like there is not enough time in the day, however again I will state what I stated on the 22nd, it’s time to integrate patience and allow the flow of spirit to guide your way. There is much to prepare prior to the holidays, and everyone is thinking about their own particular to do list. …For December 22nd, 2007 Happy-Merry Winter Solstice!!! Yes, the Sun moved into the sign of Capricorn this morning at 1:08 AM EST! When that happens the Winter Solstice begins!!! Woo hoo, we celebrate the darkest day of the year, because it is the last one, and now the light will only get longer and brighter! With the Sun in the sign of Capricorn, we focus upon traditions! So allow the gentle warmth of the sun to light your festive moods and enjoy your holiday season with friends and family!!! Today is a somewhat busy astrological day! The Moon continues to travel through the social sign of Gemini, the invitations continue to pour in over the next while, however; so does going out and visiting everyone, as well as getting the rest of the holiday season gifts! I don’t know about any body else, but I am near exhaustion! The duality of this Moon has me tired yet full of energy! Early this morning, Venus square Neptune at 5:23 AM EST may have awakened you from your sleep. Or it may have activated many dreams within your minds eye. There is difficulty seeing the alignment of your soul's values with your personal values. For your Soul may have awakened you at this time so that you could see where the energies were not meshing. There may have been some confusion in understanding the dynamic around romantic situations or relationships as well. However, look to the dream you were experiencing at this time and if you look at the symbology behind the symbols in your dream, you will find your answer and be guided down the right path. Then at 6:55 am EST the Moon square Saturn took place. Again you may have awakened from your sleep, and you body was telling you to get up and get back to reality, but your emotional nature was telling you get some more sleep. What did you choose… Sleep or getting up? Mercury opposite Mars takes place today at 1:29 PM EST. Patience is all I can say. Patience…Patience…Patience… Know that if you are shopping or driving, you will need lots of that today, it’s a busy time of year, so don’t get angry if you are waiting in a line up… it’s not really any one’s fault, and if you have to blame someone, then blame yourself for trying to leave everything for the last minute when you know it’s a busy time of year! Patience… Patience… patience!!! The last aspect of the day is the Moon square Uranus at 5:24 PM EST, which may activate a little bit of emotional chaos, especially if you are tired. …For December 21st, 2007 Today the Moon is shifting signs from the practical sign of Taurus into the communicative and social sign of Gemini. Before the Moon actually shifts into Gemini, at the wee hours of the morning the only aspect taking place is Moon square Neptune at 1:07 AM EST. This particular vibration will be ruling the day; one must tap into faith energy today and know that we are not in control of everything. For with this vibration there will be delays that are beyond your control, and they may be very minor but they may trigger emotional responses that are connected to a deeper core issue. As soon as you recognize anything that causes you a bit of confusion or delays in your day, let it go, just let it go. Know that you may not find the understanding you are looking for on a conscious level, because the understanding lays within the Soul at an unconscious level. After that aspect the Moon it will be void of course (at 1:07 AM EST) until it makes is social shift into the sign of Gemini at 5:14 PM. …For December 20th, 2007 The Moon continues to move through the practical sign of Taurus. There is much energy taking place today with the Moon and with other planets! At 6:41 AM EST the Moon trine Saturn allows us to really focus on those things which aid in practicality, like… waking up! From an emotional perspective (non-practical), there may have been a desire to sleep in today, however our practical side made us go the extra mile and actually get out of bed. As today’s main energy supports the desire of creating and building upon a materialistic reality. Allow your desires the ability to become real as you work on bringing them into being and into form. At 9:43 AM EST, Mercury the planet of the mind and communication moves into the sign of Capricorn. Our thoughts align with social status, following tradition and communicating our career goals. For those of you that write, there is opportunity to anchor a contract with a publisher. Make sure you have your layer (Jupiter) look over any contract signing (Mercury), as today the universe is telling you that they need to share the same space! At 5:14 PM the Moon sextile Uranus allows for an intuitive awakening, one that will aid you on getting on path. Look through the eyes of the universe and know that no matter what your perception at this time, you are being asked to align with what sets you free. At 7:14 PM the Sun conjunct Pluto will allow for the transformation of Spirit. This aspect only happens once a year, and for many people you may notice a shift within your hearts vibration. Transmuting your sense of spirit will aid you in seeing the bigger picture of life, and give you a feeling of connectedness and separateness all at the same time. Then the last aspect for the EST time zone is Moon opposite Venus at 10:41 PM. After returning home from the mall, wrap your purchases with love, and stop being so self critical that you spent too much money on ‘holiday’ gifts. …For December 19th, 2007 Another busy astrological day today! We start the day off with the Moon in the sign of Aries until it shifts into the practical sign of Taurus at 4:38 AM EST. With the Moon in Aries, there is still lots of active energy to be realized, to use this energy effectively, make sure you so something physical. Once the Moon shifts signs into practical Taurus, there may be a tendency to slow down and focus your energy on a more grounded level. Use this energy by catching up on your financial record keeping or take a look at your list of priorities and tackle something on it. At 9:11 AM EST, Saturn stations retrograde at 08 Degrees of Virgo 34’. Saturn will be retrograde until May 3rd, 2008. As Saturn retrogrades there is a tendency to pull this planetary energy internally. On some level there is a desire to move forward in life, however when working with Saturn, most of the limitations you see during this time are reflective of our internal nature. All realized and non-realized limitations and restrictions will be visible during this long transit, however they may not be consciously understood. One may see, but not understand. So if during this time you feel stuck in life, know there is a reason, and that reason (should one choose to look at it) will be found within the mind. You may not understand right away, but you will once Saturn moves into it direct motion. Later today at 1:48 PM EST, Mercury conjunct Venus allows for our thoughts to be focused upon personal values and beliefs and relationships. With the Moon shifting into the sign of Taurus (natural ruler of Venus), I would like to think that most people will be thinking of money. Not just on a practical level, but also there may be a tendency to expand the almighty dollar into the unpractical. It is that time of year when most people are expanding their budget in order to give to others. Try not to over think your budget as this may cause issues in the future. …For December 18, 2007 The Moon blazes through the sign of Aries today allowing for an increase of mental, emotional and physical energy. So allow the inspiration of the stars to motivate you like never before. A major aspect took place this morning at 1:42 AM EST and the vibration will last for a few days. Venus trine Uranus (chart) allows for a heightened sense of intuition. There may be desires of attaining independence in your relationships. Know that intellectual stimulation is very important now as you interact with people of like mindedness. Allow yourself the freedom necessary to express your heightened ideas during this transit. The planet ruling expansion and luck has moved into the sign of business. Yes, Jupiter has shifted into Capricorn (chart) after being the sign of Sagittarius for the last year. As Jupiter will travel through Capricorn over the period of a year, our focus will slightly shift as we tap into integrity and traditional values. Career focused individuals will have growth in their career over the next year, for some they are building a platform while others continue to climb the ladder of success with this vibration. …For December 17th, 2007 Get ready for another busy astrological day. The Moon is shifting signs today, causing everyone to go from relax mode into full motivational speed. As the Moon traveled through the sign of Pisces over the weekend, we had the astrological support to just kick back and relax. This was confirmed by a snow storm here in Ontario on Sunday. As I sat around looking through the windows, it reminded me of a snow day. A day where one can do what ever one desires. For some that means going out and shoveling, and for others kicking back and watching TV all day looking at the mess building up around you. The Moon surfed graciously all weekend in the sign of Pisces giving everyone a sense of kick back, relax, no need to be motivated! It will continue to be in this sign early throughout the morning until later this afternoon. While it transits through the sign of Pisces today, feelings of still desiring to kick back are with you, however based on the MONDAY calendar, it’s a new week with new things that need to be started and explored! So wile in the sign of Pisces this morning the Moon square Mercury takes place at 5:03 AM EST. Activating the mind during this time is challenging, needless to say, it may have activated dreams while still sleeping. Then the Moon square Sun took place at 5:17 AM EST, which is the same thing as First Quarter Moon! Have you started implementing your ‘to do’ list since the New Moon? Well you should have, and potentially if you didn’t you will find obstacles within your path today that will not assist you with getting the ball rolling. Oh well, let it go and move on! At 10:27 AM EST the Sun conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius will allow you to think about yourself as you try to identify with the big picture around you. Allow yourself the time to tap into your inner consciousness and sense of spirit, for when you do all will become clear, however actions still need to be implemented in order to gain full clarity. As the Moon continues through the sign of Pisces it will square Pluto at 11:27 AM EST, making it difficult to implement the changes that are necessary to implement. Then the Moon will square Jupiter at 1:27 PM EST, allowing for the challenge of growth. It will then be void of course until it officially moves into the sign of Aries at 1:52 PM EST. All will be astrologically quite (for lack of a better word) until the Moon square Mars aspect takes place at 10:56 PM EST, instigating challenges with actions. You may feel like doing something but realize that you do not have the energy to do so, representing an internal conflict vibration. While in this sign the Moon sextile Pluto took place at 5:33 AM EST, allowing us to harmoniously integrate planetary consciousness and tap into the transformations of the Soul. This is today’s leading vibration, to notice that change takes place all the time, as we embrace these changes within our lives, we can do so with ease. At 6:51 AM EST, the Moon sextile Jupiter took place allowing us to tap into the knowledge once again. This is the last aspect to the Moon while in the sign of Aquarius, hence it will be void of course, until the Moon moves into the imaginative sign of Pisces at 8:15 AM EST. During a void moon the best thing to do is nothing, or one could relax, continue to sleep in as it is a Saturday morning. Once the Moon moves into the sign of Pisces, all remains quite (so follow the flow) until later this evening when the Moon trine Mars takes place at 7:18 PM EST. A burst of energy will come your way or you may experience a harmonious relationship connection. Later at 11:50 PM EST, the Moon opposite Saturn takes place. This aspect may show you that you may NOT like the boundaries that are in place, or you may desire to break the rules, but remember when breaking them, there are consequences…and sometimes they take effect immediately, while other times they have a long term effect! …For December 14th, 2007 Today it a highly electric intuitive day! As the Moon flashes through the sign of Aquarius it will conjunct and eclipse (placing MAJOR emphasis) the planet Neptune! Yes at 1:22 PM don’t be surprised if you receive flashes of intuition, that soar from the ‘heavens’ into your mind or mind’s eye. This is a perfect time to just focus upon your body and feel your way into what your Higherself is trying to tell you. Later at 3:27 PM the Moon sextile Mercury gives you the logical answers you are seeking. So be patient, observe what you feel, see, think, know and hear during the day, and much logic will come your way. Enjoy!
…For December 13th, 2007 Today the Moon moved into the sign of Aquarius at 0:01 AM EST. This Moon allows not only our uniqueness to shine, but also our humanitarian natures. Touch the life of someone in the next couple of days by doing something thoughtful. Allow someone in front of you in line, or stop to let someone out of their parking space without the intention of taking it. It is small jesters that people do for others that allow us to experience the joy of giving. When giving do so with your heart, without an intention of return. The other day I was at a Home retail store, purchasing a little item for my kitchen, when the teenager in front of me was 11 cents short for his purchase. Looking at the item that he was buying for his mothers Christmas gift, and then looking at this teen, I could only see a sadness in his eyes as repeatedly kept digging deep within his pockets to see if he could find the 11 cents to finish the purchase. My heart reached out to him as he was telling the cashier to forget about it and cancel the sale. There I was thinking, how many times was I short a few cents for a purchase? Several! How many times did I have to walk away from buying myself something because I was short changed? Many! How many times did someone aid me with a few cents? Once! So I took out my wallet, reached into my change purse and gave the cashier 11 cents to finish the amount owning. The boy looked at me in surprise, and said, “Thank you!!! Are you sure you want to do this? I don’t know you! I won’t be able to pay you back.” I told him not to worry about giving me the 11 cents, but I did ask him to do one thing… “Consider this an act of good will, and remember, maybe one day you will be in a line up and the person in front of you may be short a few pennies for their item, if you can spare the few cents, make up the difference, but only if you feel it in your heart to do so.” With that statement the boy never said anything to me, nor did I expect him to. All I can do is think that maybe this act of kindness will allow this boy to act with kindness the next time he sees someone who needs it. That is the vibration of Moon in Aquarius, if everyone shared a bit of self-less assistance to those who need it, then the world would be a much better place. We do not need thanks or recognition, for it is within these little acts of kindness, the reward takes place. When you know that not only did you bring joy to someone in the moment, but you also left them thinking that maybe one day they will remember and pass on that heartfelt joy. I am not attached in any way to the boy ever giving something for nothing, but I trust that the memory of this small gesture will return to him one day. Just as I remembered the act of kindness that one person assisted me with many years ago. Thoughts of inspiration will be active today, as Mercury sextile Neptune takes place at 10:03 AM EST. …For December 10th, 11th & 12th, 2007 What a triple of busy astrological days we have in front of us. The Moon is shifting from the sign of Sagittarius into the sign of Capricorn on Dec 10th at 1:51 PM. With this shift, we are going from freedom loving to structurally sound! Our focus will be on implementing boundaries so that it aids in what we are building within our lives. Remember to keep those boundaries within your budget as well; as we are in the shopping season, we don’t need to take bricks out of the structure we have already stabilized by spending outside our boundaries budget! On the 12th the Moon will be void of course all day long as it’s last aspect will be on December 11th at 6:57 PM. Don’t shop on the 12th at all, stay home if you can and do what your heart desires!!! …For December 8th & 9th, 2007 This weekend the Moon will be in the sign of Sagittarius. It moved into the travelers sign on Dec 8th at 2:11 AM EST. While the Moon travels (literally) through this sign, we may experience the desire of flight, to go where no one has gone before, into the universal sky, the heavens seeking and searching for knowledge, wondering… “when it will become wisdom”. Ah, if you find that is not your desire, then perhaps you may feel like journeying out in nature, or skiing the mountains in British Colombia… what ever desire you choose, the key to this is EXPERIENCE; or potentially experiencing freedom. The Moon continues throughout this sign all weekend long, and as December 9th arrives at 12:04 PM EDT it will be in it’s New Moon phase (chart). The New Moon in the sign of Sagittarius is asking you to EXPERIENCE SOMETHING NEW! What does your little heart desire? What freedom loving adventure do you choose to go on? Are you going to book that exotic holiday over the holiday season? Or are you just going to visit those wonderful places within your mind’s eye? It does not really matter as long as you can tap into the freedom of who you are; the freedom of experiencing life to the fullest, the ability to say “YES I DID THAT AND I LOVED IT”! Much to desire and break free of (again another challenge to manifest at this time as the Moon square Uranus – Dec 9th at 7:55 AM EST) and much to fantasize about (Moon sextile Neptune Dec 9th at 5:28 PM EST) as this unlimited potential moon sways though out the universe. And this weekend on the 8th at 11:01 PM EST; we must go beyond the Moon into the aspect of Mars sextile Saturn (chart). This allows for an opportunity to express the energy being presented to you with self-discipline. The ability to follow the rules comes into play now, and don’t forget, not everyone has learned the aspect of self-control, some may still be learning it through it’s polarized opposite. …For December 6th, 2007 Today is a wonderful clearing day as the Moon continues to dive through the sign of Scorpio. At 6:34 AM EST, the Moon sextile Saturn allows us to implement practical applications of purging what is not necessary and while doing so organizing what is necessary. Great vibration for business oriented people. Later at 8:19 AM EST, energy levels will increase as the Moon trine Mars takes effect. Today is a great day for doing! Then at 4:16 PM EST Mercury square Saturn may make it difficult for properly communicating your message. It may be best if you don’t speak at this time, for there will be limits on what can be said. Don’t fret, this will pass soon. The last aspect of the day is an awakening one, at 7:36 PM EST the Moon trine Uranus will open your eyes to a wonderful surprise. …For December 5th, 2007 As today we dive into the depths of our being as the Moon shifts into the sign of Scorpio at 1:31 PM EST after being void of course from its last aspect while in the sign of Libra at 9:48 AM EST. It’s a wonder how everything is connected. The Moon sextile Pluto (ruler of the underworld) while in Libra at the void time, and Pluto’s connection with Scorpio runs deep. Yet the depth has not started officially until the Moon ventures into the underwater caves, looking and searching in the darkness. Venus the planet of values and beliefs also moved into the scuba divers sign (Scorpio) at 8:29 PM EST today. As Venus lurks around in the darkness for the next three and a half weeks, we shall see what types of secretes she learns about while her partner Mars continues to fester in the retrograde vibration of Cancer. The two of them dancing in the dark, are they together or separate, for they both lurk in the emotional watery aspects of the self, wondering, when are we finished swimming through this emotional cesspool? One may tap into the light while in the darkness, as the Moon conjuncts Venus in the depths of this sign at 2:04 PM EST. Our values run deep and the only way to connect with them is to join them in the depths with our emotional nature. Understanding is just a heartbeat away if you tap into the fiery sign of Sagittarius where the light of the Sun and Spirit is beaming strong. …For December 4th, 2007 Today the Moon continues to move through the sign of Libra, allowing us to continue to integrate balance and harmony. Seeming like a somewhat normal day, with minor exceptions like the weather and traffic. However weather and traffic may be what is needed to balance out your day. How about taking the day off? Saying at home in front of the fire? Doing nothing outside of the house and enjoy the warmer indoor temperatures? As I left the house this morning for an appointment down town Toronto, I found myself in the midst of chaos. “This is not normal when the Moon is in Libra”, I thought to myself. “It is to be a peaceful day!” so while on route, after driving a 5 minute stretch of road that took me 35 minutes to travel, I decided to invite the peaceful nature of the Moon in Libra into my day. I turned the car around and drove home. Traffic was at a stand still going southbound into the city. I thought to myself if it is going to take me 35 minutes to travel 5 minutes worth of road, then I best do it from my sofa in the living room! So that’s that! Integrating peace and harmony is not always about following the norm, many time it is about doing what you would not normally do, and celebrating it as well. Today the Moon trine Neptune takes place at 4:23 PM EST. Can you allow for the celebration of intuition to guiding your day? Did you want to stay home today; but fought the universal flow of bad weather and traffic just to get there? We shall see what this afternoon brings, but my intention at that time is going to be to sit in front of the fire and meditate! Enjoy your day!!!
...For December 3rd, 2007 The Moon sways through the sign of Libra today. Our consciousness is centered on partnerships right now and potentially finding balance and harmony in all types of one to one relationships. There is a strong desire to attain freedom, as we move through this month of Sagittarius. Allow the freedom vibration of Sagittarius to integrate into your relationships with others as you attain the balance of self within the balance of relating to others. Early this morning at 7:16 AM EST, the aspect of Moon sextile Mercury takes place. As Mercury (the communicator) is in the sign of Sagittarius, our goal is to soar above anything that may be pulling us out of balance and see the bigger picture. Open your mind to an alternate solution to your current situations. See above the situation and open up the channels of communication. Listen to the words of others as they may be giving you valuable insight, but in order to hear them, you may need to step out of the drama for a moment. Then silence, no aspects take place until later this afternoon, not until the planet Venus (today’s lunar ruler) sextile Pluto at 5:43 PM EST. Intense commitment is the focus here. There will be major emphasis on your relationships at this time. What part of your interaction with others needs to be transformed? As the evening approaches, clues will be given to you around that question. Situations will arise showing you the path of least resistance. The Moon will square Mars at 8:58 PM EST. Physical action may be required during this aspect, for on an inner level you may feel a sense of impatience or irritability. Movement allows for the blocked emotional channels within to become freer. Allow yourself the space required to understand WHY you are feeling the way you are. Once you can figure out the WHY, then look to the solution. Don’t waste your energy on why, move beyond into acceptance, then allow the universe to show you the way. As we prepare ourselves for the major conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto on the galactic centre on December 11th, know that all of your external situations are just a reflection of what is going on in the centre of your own universe.
