…For May 24th, 2007 The Moon continues to move through the sign of Virgo today. If you have the opportunity, go out into the garden and connect with nature as the Moon moves through this earth sign. If you don’t have a garden, then spend some time taking care of your indoor plants and sticking your hands in the soil. As the Moon moves through this earth sign, connecting with the earth on a physical level will aid in your manifestation process. An alternate for the anti-gardeners, go to the park, sit under a tree with your back up against it, take off your shoes and socks and dig your feet into the ground. Relax on Earth, Today!!! The only Lunar aspect happening today in a Eastern Daylight Time Zone (EDT) is the Moon will square Jupiter tonight at 8:52 PM. This may bring on self-indulgent tendencies. Remember chocolate may be your pallets favorite food, but not your body’s. Use self-discipline consciously this evening. Later this evening at 9:10 PM EDT the planet Neptune goes retrograde (Chart) until October 31 2007 (Chart). As Neptune Retrogrades, prepare for a journey of suspension as you reflect inward to contemplate your evolutionary plan. There is time now to gain much understanding within the confusion of your minds, for this transit is not one of a practical nature, however it is one of everything other then practicality. If you are open to new possibilities then much warmth and understanding will be gained from such a transit. Self-discipline will be ‘tested’ during this time, and if you adhere to it then your will continue to develop your individual intelligence. …For May 23rd, 2007 Today the Moon is taking it’s time as it moves through the sign of Virgo. The First Quarter Moon takes place at 5:02 PM EDT allowing for us to sit half in the dark and half in the light, taping into the kinesthetic motion and movement of the universe. As the light of the Moon increases over the next few days we can continue to gather information for any decisions we will need to act upon, and for the Moon to be in the sign of Virgo during this phase, we have the ability to analyze all the data that is coming our way. …For May 22nd, 2007 Yesterday (May 21st, 2007) the Sun moved into the socially chatty sign of Gemini. For the next astro-month, expect your social life to increase drastically. (More information about the Sun in Gemini to be release soon via the Universal Sky newsletter). So now on to today!!! Today the Moon is blazing through the sky in the sign of Leo. Pretty girls come out of the woodwork today, making your physical appearance most important. And if you are not consciously trying to make yourself look pretty, then you may just get a lot of compliments… learn to say ‘Thank You’ when someone complements you today. Even if no one complements you, know that your self-esteem will sparkle like the stars seen in the night sky. For your intentions and desires found within your heart will shine through you today. The Moon will trine Jupiter this morning at 10:52 AM EDT bringing growth of a new nature, so keep your eyes open and see how far you have come. However during this particular time Saturn is in a direct motion and NOT retrograde, so the energy may be somewhat more progressive today, not so much like the March 29th vibration which was more repressive. New Ideas will come to the forefront at 8:05 PM EDT when the Moon will sextile Mercury. Then at 9:03 PM EDT the Moon will oppose Neptune, there will be a desire to be one with the universe at this time, however clarity will be required to achieve this. Gemini being a very social sign, many people have started their long weekend early here in Ontario, and have hit the open roads on their attempt to realign with nature up north this weekend. …For May 16th, 2007 As I look upon the energies of the day, I noticed that today is the day we are graced by the New Moon in Taurus (chart). The darkness that has filled the sky shall depart as the new light of manifestation approaches. The New Moon takes place at 3:27 PM EDT at 25 Degrees of Taurus 33 minutes. The Sabian Symbol* of 26 degrees of Taurus is “ A SPANISH GALLANT SERENADES HIS BELOVED”**. It refers to the ritualization of individual desires. Society has made the collective believe that rituals are necessary for the attainment of our desires, but in truth they are not. That being said, the next and last aspect of the day on the 13th is Mars square Pluto (chart) at 11:14 AM EDT. This will allow any suppressed emotions to surface. …For May 10th, 2007 The Last quarter Moon took place in the wee hours of the morning at 12:27 AM EDT while traveling through the sign of Aquarius. We are operating with pure feeling today as our kinesthetic nature strengthens before we enter the dark. As we take the time to focus on our dreams and desires we are asked universally to make minor adjustments along the way. Realign with your plan; re-vision it as well so that you can clearly understand what obstacles need to be removed from your path. Jupiter continues to Trine Saturn (see May 7th Tidbit or chart May 6th) and now starting today we can throw Uranus into this mix. Jupiter squares Uranus at 11:45 PM EDT (chart), and shortly there after Saturn will inconjunct or Quincunx Uranus (Same chart). This is not an easy combination of planetary influences. The dance of the planets seems off step, and they are stepping on each others feet. This being said, things are not as easy as you may believe them to be. Slow down and process what is being sent to you, allow your perceptions to expand to finding why things are the way they are. Is it possible that you allowed these events to take place? Can you honor and forgive yourself for your own behaviors that are now biting you back? You are currently feeling a pull between the old and the new and there may be difficulty in understanding how to blend the two. My advice - JUST ALLOW the process to unfold. Become the observer and take a look at the universal plan of alignment that all of us are seeking. Consciously or sit back and watch yourself and how the grand plan can assist you in the big picture. …For May 9th, 2007 The Moon is flying through the sign of Aquarius now, activating a desire for emotional freedom. Wanting to separate from current reality is potentially on a lot of people’s mind. Focus on hopes wishes and dreams are the desires of the general public right now. However, later today at 1:48 PM EDT the Moon will shift into the sign of Aquarius allowing for the heightened ability of exchanging ideas. …For May 7th, 2007 Yesterday (May 6th) we experienced a major aspect taking place, one that has a reverb for about 2 weeks before and after the actual aspect. Jupiter was trine Saturn (chart) yesterday, which is a harmonious aspect that allows for expanding our horizons on a practical level. Sounds great, however on May 10th there is another planet being thrown into this mix, Jupiter will square Uranus (chart). This activates restlessness energy, leavening people jumping off the end of their seats. The key note here is to be open to unforeseen changes within your plans, prepare for the unpredictable and all will be well. Today the Moon travels through the sign of Capricorn, enforcing practical issues becoming stabilized. Focus on stabilizing all structures in your life, and work from the bottom up. First we experience Mercury sextile Uranus at 11:52 AM EDT (chart). This aspect allows our minds to be alert, for when Mercury interacts harmoniously with Uranus we are speaking and thinking way to fast. You will be filled with ideas that are ahead of their time, so others may not understand the conversations you are speaking today. If you are mentally inspired, write down your ideas, but don’t get so caught up in them that you forget to write half of it down. For what makes sense today, may seem like gibberish tomorrow. Later today we will experience Mercury square Saturn at 6:55 PM EDT (chart). This aspect is considered to be more of an inharmonious one, as the ideas we were thinking merge into our minds like concrete mortar. Being fixed on certain ideas at this time may or may not serve your better interests, you may believe they do, however others (especially those of authority) will disagree with you. Now it will be more difficult to communicate your thoughts, for the inspiration that you felt this morning has “left the building”. During both Mercury transits today, I can not enforce enough the importance of journaling, for you can write what inspires you this morning, and then find the blocks within those realizations this afternoon. …For May 4th, 2007 The Moon soars through the sky, like the arrow of the archer, as it travels through the sign of Sagittarius. When and where it will land, no-body really knows, but if you feel something brush by the side of your head, duck, for you do not want to get hit with it today. There are no aspects in the sky with the Moon today, but that does not mean it is not a busy day. And if you thought today was busy, wait for tomorrow with the action will be on overdrive. This does not mean the Moon is void of course, because that only happens after the last aspect while traveling through a sign. …For May 3rd, 2007 The Moon continues to travel through the sign of Scorpio this morning and afternoon. It is traveling in a void of course motion as it last aspected Neptune at 2:34 AM EDT. This aspect allowed for an overactive dream state last night. Dreams were likely to be highly active yesterday, with a lot of running around in them going from place to place. Upon awakening they may or may not have made sense to you. Remember use symbolism to interpret the dream, not the story. Later today at 6:48 PM EDT, the Moon will shift into the sign of Sagittarius allowing for a new dynamic of energy to kick into play. …For May 2nd, 2007 The Full Moon took place today at 6:09 AM EDT (Chart), however most people here in Ontario would have viewed it in the night sky last night. Me however, when I looked up into the heavens, all I could see was a bright light glowing and spreading it’s reflection through the cloud covered sky. The Full Moon was not completely visible last night, but it’s vibration felt throughout the evening. My night filled with dreams and wake-ups all night. The Full Moon assists in the illumination, and while being at 11 Degrees Scorpio 38 minutes, it is asking us to tap into group-consciousness and allow the peaceful cooperation that consists within it to illuminate our way, our path. As our illuminations come to mind or sight, remove what does not serve you from your own consciousness, so that the ‘group’ does not emanate the dis-service. Tap into your own internal power, prestige and wealth and allow that to shine through in everything that you do, allow it to shine into your relationships with others, for when you stand in a place of internal power, for the betterment of all, this serves not only you, but those who you share your life with. …For May 1st, 2007 Early this morning the Moon shifted from the sign of Libra into the sign of Scorpio. So now we receive the luxury of letting go on an emotional level. Let go of all attitudes that do not serve you as we embrace today – May Day or Beltane. Today brings in a glorious cycle of fertility which allows the awakening of passion towards a new life. The Scorpio Moon reminds us that we must release that which does not serve in order to receive this new life, all will be illuminated into what requires the release tomorrow when we experience the Full Moon in Scorpio.
