Today we start the day with the Moon in Capricorn but it does not stay there for long. However, while in the sign of Capricorn the Moon sextile Mercury aspect takes place at 12:54 AM allowing for practical thoughts. It is the only aspect taking place today, so it may rule your day.

Once 9:34 AM arrive the energy shifts with the Moon as it moves into the sign of Aquarius. The Moon in Aquarius allows our freedom loving natures to be revealed. This may be a challenge if you are thinking in practical terms, so it is best if you open up your consciousness and think outside of the box.

Today the Moon continues to travel through the sign of Sagittarius for most of the day. Our free spirited natures are highlighted now. Breaking away from typical routine is favored and has the potential of being productive. Today is a very busy astrological day, allowing for a busy physical or spirited day!

	Moon square Venus at 12:13 AM – Difficulty expressing your feelings within your relationships at this time. Integrate understanding when interacting in relationships. Try to relax and just be yourself.
	Moon sextile Chiron at 1:25 AM – Integrating compassion towards others.
	Moon square Uranus at 2:05 AM – Your stubborn side may show now, know this is just a desire to release some creative and intuitive thoughts.
	Moon square Mercury at 3:40 AM – Indecisiveness kicks in. weigh the pros and cons and make your decision tomorrow (if possible). Sometimes we need to integrate compromise. Careful with investments now until the Moon moves into the sign of Capricorn later today.
	Moon sextile Neptune at 9:21 AM - Great time for meditation (especially with the Moon going void) use your sensitivity now and gain understanding around what is taking place within you.
	Moon goes void of course at 9:21 AM – Doing something different now (other than typical routine) this will allow you to understand your inner reality.
	Venus sextile Jupiter at 6:54 PM – Time to set those goals, open up to other people in your environment to assist you with meeting them.

	Moon enters into the sign of Capricorn (no longer void of course) 10:43 PM- We turn our direction outward once again. Our focus becomes that of attainability and security. Integrating practical responsibilities over the next couple of days is highly favored. Start tackling that to do list around the house or within your career.
	Jupiter sextile Uranus at 8:16 PM – Now we can all work towards changing the world to become a better place. (Interesting that this aspect should come near Earth day!) As you slowly make those changes that are in alignment with the greater good, you will notice a difference in your life. Make those harmonious changes within your life now and it will have a direct impact on the earth and the people around you. Have patience, for some people may operate at a slower rate of speed when it comes to integrating change… but remember this…. It is time to “BE the change that you wish to see in the world.”

The Moon continues to swiftly move through the sign of Sagittarius today. Depending on your own element, you either have a lot of energy or you don’t. Fire and water are supported today, but remember what happens when you mix these two elements? You get steam or your fire goes out. Try to find the balance between the two elements today.

First thing this morning at 12:04 AM, the Moon trine Sun took place. This allows for a harmonious blend of ying and yang, but it adds a spice of fire. If you are naturally ruled by the element of fire, then enjoy the warmth blazing within you. If not, then just try to get use to the rising temperatures.

The other aspects that are taking place today in the EDT time zone are due to the planet Mercury. Today at 2:56 PM Mercury sextile Jupiter takes place. This allows for many thoughts, big thoughts, and grandiose thoughts to be running through your mind. Try to keep up with the pace of incoming messages and phone calls. Know that the ideas you are having are both creative and practical. Then later at 4:07 PM allow the flood gates of consciousness to open as your mind will be awakened. Mercury conjunct Uranus takes place then and let me say that these two friends have been waiting a while to hook up. Conversations may explode, but not necessarily in a bad way, so continually look for the hidden messages and the opportunities within each conversation or email correspondence! Allow your mind the creative spirit of movement of thought.

What a glorious day! Upon awakening this morning you may not have felt the glory within the day, but now there has been a shift since then. The Moon moved into the sign of Sagittarius at 10:11 AM. This broke us free the void of course Moon since yesterday evening at 8:36pm in the sign of Scorpio. With the moon void of course in the sign of Scorpio we went deep into our conscious and unconscious mind, digging in the corners looking for our inner skeletons, now that they have been found, we can move forward with this adventurous energy that Sagittarius brings us. The energy of Sagittarius brings with it the ability to see the big picture, focus on the big picture and fill your day with following through on the details that are necessary to obtaining your big picture. For anyone can dream of attaining their desires, but only those who follow through with practical implantations will actually materialize what they have their heart set on.

There is only one aspect today in the EDT zone. At 3:57 PM the Moon square Saturn takes place. The Moon and Saturn are not friends in the planetary block, and this square through a bit more challenge into the situation. But this brings me to the old saying; “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. It is through the dynamic of interacting with challenge that we will find the strength within to accomplish everything we set our intentions upon. This morning at 9:23 AM EST the Moon blazed into the sign of Aries. While the Moon is in Aries, there is a new sense of feeling taking place. Energy levels increase during this time. Our thoughts and feeling are focused around the ‘self’, with questions of “who am I” leading the way. Open your mind and allow the answers to come from the core of your being, for all the answers to all your questions are within “I AM”.

	Moon in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn at 11:02 AM EST – Intense and emotional feeling transpire during this time. Pluto being the co ruler of Aries allows for the identification of your own internal power; however the aspect of square presents a challenge within accessing or believing that you have the power to create your desired outcome. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, so when we work with the energy of Pisces, we are actually completing a cycle, even thought the New Moon is used for beginning a cycle. Think of this New Moon as standing in the door way between the old and the new. You are finishing one thing and starting another!!!

We start the day off with the Moon in Aquarius. It does not stay for very long, as the Moon shifted into the sign of Pisces at 5:53 AM EST. When the Moon is in the sign of Pisces, our dreamy natures take over. Do you feel sleepy? Like you could crawl back into bed this morning for just a few more hours? Well you may feel like it, but there is too much going on in the universe today!

Today there are three lunar aspects and they are…

	Moon trine Mars in Cancer at 7:04 AM EST – you may think the Moon trine Mars would give you energy!!! However when Mars is in the sign of Cancer our emotional natures take over our active facilities. That’s right, we get lazy! Normally this is a highly active energy, just not when Mars is in the watery sign of Cancer. Just keep your emotions in alignment with expression, as highly volatile anger outbursts do not serve any one.
	Moon sextile Pluto in Capricorn at 7:33 AM EST – Okay so change is required. I can handle that, can you? Our dreamy natures sometimes get us into trouble, so all we need to do is change just a little bit to be more productive.
	Moon opposite Saturn in Virgo at 1:20 PM EST – a desire to break free of the restriction may kick in, but then on the same level, there is a desire to complete the task at hand so that we can move onto the next task. You decide, what do you feel more inspired to do today? Think about how you can do it after you fulfill your obligations! Find the balance!!!

Sun in Pisces sextile Jupiter in Capricorn at 2:04 PM EST – this is a heightened time of popularity! Social opportunities may arise now, take advantage of them if you can. Realize that sometimes while socializing, it can give you plenty of chances to expand you mind.

Venus in Aquarius conjunct Neptune in Aquarius at 7:02 PM EST – Today we have two good friends meeting up for a drink! The lower octave planet (Venus) meets up with its higher counterpart (Neptune)! Our focus during this time is our “values and beliefs”, both on a “personal” and “soul” level. Its all good, actually it’s great, for this alignment will place you one step closer to actualizing your dream! It may only be actualized in your mind or your heart, but if one can find the alignment between the two very different, yet similar aspects of self – then consider yourself, very lucky. Now let’s think about this aspect from another perspective, it can be rather dreamy (especially with the Moon in Neptune’s ruling sign). So I believe the best way to use this heightened energy is first socialize, and second meditate. Through taping into Neptune’s need to meditate, the alignment will feel so much better, and easier to grasp, for within this meditation you will be one step closer to realizing the desires of the soul. The soul can’t come to you, so during this time make sure you make time to go to it! Allow what ever you vision to fuel your desires. Remember, that it may not play out exactly how your ‘human’ mind thinks it should, as this is just FUEL, not the vehicle.

As the Moon continues to move through the sign of Aquarius, the desire to break free manifests here in Ontario! Snow storms are coming out of the heavens, putting the desire to do something different and break free from any rugged structures as the number one priority.

Mercury conjunct Chiron took place at 12:37 AM EST, allowing for wounding thoughts to be transmuted into healing ones. Clear your mind of any thought that does not serve you today. Any Communication taking place happens for a specific reason. There may be difficulty in getting your message across the way you think it to be, don’t try to force your voice, allow your intelligence to shine through you in another way…just listen!

There are many lunar aspects taking place today and they are…

	Moon conjunct Chiron at 8:27 AM EST – allow the caring and empathic person within to come forward during this time. Really you’re not being rejected; you just need to nurture yourself this morning.
	Moon conjunct Mercury at 9:06 AM EST – tap into your intuition and imagination now. Speaking today will be strongly linked to emotions, as you may speak what you feel. Make sure to use your intuition when listening to others as you will sense their thoughts even before they speak.
	Moon conjunct Venus at 2:10 PM EST – your inner gentleness shines through as you enjoy any social time today with close friends. Perhaps you feel like pampering yourself? Why not, go get your hair done; you will feel so much better when you do!
	Moon conjunct Neptune at 4:46 PM EST – RELAX!!! It’s not you, it’s the planets, the sensitivity being felt right now is happening everywhere. If feeling of being overwhelmed take over today, just do nothing but feel them. Once we can accept our inner feelings of sensitivity, then can we move forward into doing something about it. But if you try to deny what you are feeling, then the overwhelming feeling will last all day long. Take any over sensitive thoughts of feelings today as a sign that inner work is required. The best way to get inner work done is to separate yourself from the daily grind, put on some soft music and allow your artistic and creative side to explore the realms of possibilities and potentials. Paint, draw, sit down and do some arts and crafts, no matter what you do, fully immerse your being into the task before you. I like to call this active meditation.

After the last lunar aspect at 4:46 PM EST today the Moon then goes void of course. Supporting not only the last aspect of taping into the quite meditative self, but also to allow yourself to relax for the rest of the day. If you are on the roads during afternoon rush hour, take your time, because all schedules should be thrown out the window. Kick back, relax, put on your favorite music and focus on peace and love when driving home tonight.

Today the Moon flashes through the sign of Aquarius. While the Moon transits the sign of Aquarius our intuitive foresight flashes through our third eye chakra at the speed of light. Tap into your inner awareness and look to the path of least resistance.

Today at 5:01 AM EST, Mars moved into the sign of Cancer. While Mars transits this sign, motivations may be low. Mars looses his energetic flair during the transit of this sign. The fire of Mars is doused by the water of Cancer. Look to water sports during this time to increase your levels of physical activity. Obviously, you are either south in the warmer climates or indoors when it comes to water sports this time of year!

For most of the day the Moon continues to move through the sign of Capricorn. It is best if we continue to focus on practical projects for the rest of the day. Continue to reduce the piles of paperwork that on your desk.

The aspect of the day took place at 1:16 AM EST. The Moon sextile Uranus gives everyone the opportunity to express their originality and ideas. With the Moon being in Capricorn today, we can share those ideas with anyone we view as a higher authority.

That being the last aspect that took place for the Moon in Capricorn, the Moon will then be void of course until it shifts into the sign of Aquarius tonight at 11:24 PM EST. During the shift you will feel the desire to break free, allow your thought process to soar into the etheric realms and plan your escape route. Enjoy your day!!!

…For March 1st, 2008

A new month has arrived! We enter this month with the Moon being in the sign of the adventurer, Sagittarius. Let’s hope that the fun loving vibration this sign brings is with us all month. This morning the Moon opposite Mars aspect takes place at 11:54 AM EST. The energy associated to this vibration is assertion. However often when one asserts themselves they may find that it ends up in conflict. So the best way to channel this energy productively is to engage in physical activates, especially ones that demand high levels of concentration.

The Moon in Sagittarius won’t be with us all day, as it has spent the last couple days there too. At 1:33 PM EST the moon will shift into the practicable and grounded sign of Capricorn. It’s time to get to business as it journeys through this sign. The Moon opposite Pluto takes place at 3:17 PM EST which allows us to make the necessary changes within the structures that we have created. Slowly we work towards transmuting those habits that don’t work for us into one that do. Be gentle with yourself, as change takes time. Then the Moon trine Saturn at 10:39 PM EST, allows you to see your perspective from a different angel. You will see that many of the changes you have already made within your structures are beneficial and are working great. They still may be a bit restrictive, but there working out well.
