Week of Monday, January 4 to Sunday, January 10, 2010Happy New Year, Its officially the first full week of the New Year. Did you make your resolutions? Make sure that they are realistic enough so that one does not unconsciously plan self-sabotage. This week the personal planets are interacting asking everyone to make minor adjustments in their attitudes towards life events. We start the week off with the Sun conjunct Mercury retrograde in the sign of Capricorn. Looking at the social pictures within our lives, changes are required and take the time for inner contemplation to see where one will need to make those minor changes within their environment (home or career). Inner thoughts reflecting the spirit is highlighted, and taping into the truest nature found within your heart center is illuminated. Tuesday we align in a similar fashion only our inner thoughts are focusing on the values that we are living within our lifestyles, as Mercury retrograde conjunct Venus in Capricorn transpires. Following the values of others is what you may see, and one must tap into discernment to understand what is theirs and what is someone else’s. Thursday and Friday some unconscious tension arises within the actions that we are taking in life as the Sun inconjunct Mars retrograde transpires. Our spirit knows the direction that we must take, however there is this desire not to listen to the heart and experience a dynamic in a different way. One must always follow their heart to be guided down the right path. Use your mind and heart together and then follow through with the appropriate actions necessary to be successful. On Friday relationship issues may come to the forefront as Venus inconjunct Mars transpires. What ever is unconscious within your relationships will be shown to you through internalized tension. This is a good thing even though when you look at it from a place of attachment it may be difficult to see where the positive lies, instead look at what is transpiring from a place of awakening awareness, and then choose your actions differently based on this new level of awareness. Remember, one of the gifts of Capricorn is detachment, the ability to make decisions based on intellect with no emotional attachments, for when one is attached emotionally then the decisions one makes may not be in the best interests of all. It’s time to get back to work after a few weeks of holiday fun and cheer. The Kids are back in school today, allowing the parents to get back to business and work. Focusing on details is highlighted as the Moon in Virgo transpires, today is all about EARTH energy so get grounded and get back to business!

You may find yourself putting everything in its place, so that one can be more efficient when working. This also includes our relationship with money and the values that we instill and hold. The Moon square Pluto shows us where we may need to transform our emotional nature. The Moon conjunct Saturn shows us where we need to establish new habits that are in alignment with our goals in life. Then the Moon square Mercury retrograde asks us to think before we speak, as the words that come instantly to mind without thought may not be the best words chosen for communicating the message that you have. Today is a day of contemplation and not necessarily action. So allow the alignment to take place in the background as you consciously reformat the makings of your balanced desires. Thursday, January 7, 2010 The desire for balance continues, and there may be some challenges within your relationships today as the Moon in Libra square Venus in Capricorn transpires. Our ego may take a bit of a hit today as well when the Moon squares the Sun in Capricorn. However, self expression is the way to go when the Moon sextile Mars in Leo , just remember that anger is not the way to deal with any issues that are pressing. As Mars is still retrograde, self expression first must happen on the internal level and then it can be directed externally effectively. If an outlet is required then express yourself through some form of physical activity and not with the emotional activity that is brewing beneath the surface. Later, healing is integrated this evening as the Moon trine both Chiron and Neptune, allowing the body and soul to heal through methods that may not be able to wrap their mind around. Infusing unique expressions of affections and sharing the awakening potential around friends, family and loved ones. Week of Monday, January 18 to Sunday, January 24, 2010This week there are 3 planets of interest, two of them taking on new characteristics, as they interact with another planet that began its retrograde journey last week. Venus the goddess of love and beauty enters into the sign of Aquarius on Monday January 18th, 2010. Here she takes on a new costume in the play of attraction. While Venus transits this sign, one may enjoy more unconventional and odd relationships, you may notice that you are attracted to ‘different’ kinds of people then you normally are attracted to (unless of course you have Venus in Aquarius in your natal chart, if that is the case, then you are always attracted to unusual people). However, friendlier energy is avaible for relationship interactions. Any type of relationship that gives you the freedom to express your individuality is highlighted over the next few weeks (Venus is in the sign of Aquarius until, February 11th). Her journey through this sign will also stimulate communications more so then physical sensuality. Open up to sharing some good times with friends. On Tuesday the Sun will also enter the sign of Aquarius , adding more emphasis on friends and associates. This is the time to reach out and communicate with those that you know and introduce yourself to more like minded individuals as they can assist you on your path. (Venus and the Sun are still conjunct one another, with a 2-3 degree orb for the next week, allowing you inner spirit to shine and attract those that can work with you instead of against you.) Week of Monday, January 25 until Sunday, January 31, 2010A new week, and we may start the week off feeling a little hectic, not knowing which direction to take, as there is so much that must be done. Find your focus and apply yourself accordingly. This happens when (the Moon in Gemini's ruling planet) Mercury inconjunct Mars. With Mercury the ruler of short distance travel and day to day activity is being unconsciously challenged by Mars, ruler of action and motivation. You may feel as though you have a fire burning beneath your seat, and the desire to get everything done, but if you are not focused you will find that you are running around alike a chicken with no head. Don’t forget to breath deeply all day long and pace yourself accordingly. What gets done gets done, accept that and move on to the next task on the list of things to do. Challenges may arise as we approach Wednesday, Venus opposite Mars can stimulate a struggle in finding the right balance in relationships. Balancing your needs vs their needs is the issues as there is a dual desire of wanting closeness and freedom at the same time. There may be tendencies towards passionate or very emotional interactions. So ensure that you find the right mix between seeking adventure on your own, and finding time to spend with your loved one should they require it now (more then likely they will require it). As we approach Friday's aspect of the Sun opposite Mars we feel the ego challenge us and we are being asked that we hold the light of our spirit in place. Release the desire to be right and compete as the reactions we are experiencing are ego based. There is a need to release intense amounts of energy, the most productive way one can do this is to find a healthy outlet for all this pent up physical and emotional energy. Walk, go to the gym, work out and allow the steam that is building an outlet. The pressure continue to build and this is due to the major shift that is coming to an exact hit on Sunday as the planet Saturn square Pluto . Life itself is challenging for everyone now as everyone has gotten too comfortable with the status quo. When this transpires we are directed out side of our comfort zone to incorporate the changes that are necessary for evolution. Look deep within your situation and self in order to know what direction you should take onto this unknown terrain within life. Use any fear you may feel to stimulate your direction forward, instead of standing still. It is now a time to release the burdens and baggage that you have been carrying around with you. The benefit of this energy is walk the path you are desiring without carrying the burdens of yesterday making the journey a hard one to travel. Monday, January 25, 2010 We start the day with the Moon in Taurus but it does not stay there for long, as the Moon shifts into the sign of Gemini at 6:11 AM. We move from the practical vibration into the duality of everything, finding our scheduled has us all over the place. Let go of control and go with the flow (Moon square Jupiter) as you will be guided along a path that you did not expect today. You can feel the need for change but you can not put your finger on what is required of you, yet (Moon inconjunct Pluto). Know that anything that is started today has the potential for success based on how much emphasis you place on the foundations that have been started in the past (Moon trine Saturn). The wish for a harmonious blend of ying and yang or masculine and feminine is found within the mind today (Moon trine Sun). How one should act upon their thoughts may not be clear (Mercury inconjunct Mars), so instead focus upon what you desire to create and make your dreams come true (Moon trine Venus). We have the choice today how we would like to apply that information, you could just think about it or you could actually do something about it as active communication is stimulated with the Moon sextile Mars. You may feel like you continue bouncing through your day, and as we approach the Moon square Uranus tensions may arise. The key is to remain open to the possibilities and potentials no matter what you may see going on, as one can change their reality the moment they change their thoughts and beliefs associated to those thoughts. This particular Full Moon is showing you your personal and individual self-expression, the true you that has been emerging for some time. The desire to express yourself may be strong, but remember that Leo is the sign of the EGO, so don’t allow your human nature to get the better of you, remember to continue to activate your spiritual side and the humanitarian that lives within you, especially when the Moon opposite Venus transpires. At 8:23 AM the Moon shifted into the sign of Virgo, changing up the pace of fun to getting practical and maybe organizing your personal space (keep in mind for some people organizing can be fun). As the Moon opposite Jupiter transpires, we are asked to implement some restraint in the activities that are being performed. Applying yourself through self-control has benefits, so make sure you use the proper discernment in your day. Then later as the Moon trine Pluto takes place, we are exposed to truthful feelings and tested on our ability to handle them. Remember the truth sets you free, it is very liberating. This is the day that Saturn square Pluto takes place as well, so if you notice that you need to step outside of your comfort zone. In truth it is quite easy; lift your leg, shift it forward and step.
